The Committee

The Committee meets regularly to plan and organise trips and social events and ensure the smooth running of the club. If you have any comments and suggestions or there is something you would like to organise, please contact one of us by email or simply speak to us at the pool on Sunday evenings or in the pub afterwards!

Current Vacancies

Club Chairperson

We currently have a vacancy for somebody to take on the role of Club Chairperson. If you would like to know more about the role please speak to one of the existing Committee members.

Jon Malins

Club Secretary

The Club Secretary handles all general club correspondence and takes and publishes minutes of Committee meetings and the AGM. He also oversees the maintenance of club equipment.

Nigel Clarke

Club Treasurer

The Club Treasurer oversees all financial aspects of the club, banking money, paying bills and maintaining the accounts.

David Jones

Publicity Officer

The Publicity Officer co-ordinates the club's internal and external publicity including developing and maintaining the club's website. He also chairs the Publicity sub-committee.

Welfare Officer

The Club Welfare Officer acts as a source of advice on safeguarding and protecting children, promoting good practice and co-ordinating and reporting any issues or concerns raised and ensuring advice from the BCU is subsequently followed.

Deb Taylor

Membership Secretary

The Membership Secretary maintains and updates the details of all members and ensures that their views are represented. She is responsible for ensuring that the Trailer Rota is organised each week and books equipment in and out. If you would like to borrow club kit, please email or speak to her in the first instance.

Alistair Riches

Development Officer

The Development Officer identifies the skills, abilities and interests of the members within the club and encourages members to take part in untried activities. He helps coordinate coaching courses and programmes and makes books and DVDs available to borrow.
